The competitor’s chain that was initially installed had to be replaced every two months. After switching the application to Tsubaki’s Speed Master chain with hard-chromed plated pins, the customer experienced 14 months of life out of its chain without necessary downtime or maintenance. The pin’s hard surface prolongs the elongation period, thus, keeping critical drives lasting longer.
